One key, or a few. You choose who gets one, and you can take it back.

The time someone visited — not their name, unless they leave it.
Like leaving a house key for the people who still matter.
A key isn't given casually. Handing one over says something on its own, so the message doesn't have to.
More private than a blog. Less awkward than a message.
